Warren Clinic Otolaryngology, part of the Saint Francis Health System, is seeking a Fellowship trained Rhinologist – Endoscopic Sinus & Skull Base Surgeon to join our well-established and expanding practice of Otolaryngologists in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

About the Opportunity:

The ideal candidate should appreciate the full range of Rhinologic practice including primary and revision sinus surgery as well as endoscopic skull base surgery. Applicants from all levels of experience will be considered. You will be joining a collegial group of 6 experienced surgeons and 3 advanced practitioners.

 

Position Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Otolaryngology and Fellowship trained in Rhinology/Skullbase Surgery.
• Osteopathic and Allopathic candidates will be considered

• Saint Francis South Hospital - Bishop Building
• Audiology Services: OAE’s, ABR’s, and standard audiometric testing
• EMR: EPIC

• Microscopes in every POD
• Pediatric and Adult Flexible Distal Chip and Fiberoptic Scopes
• Pediatric and Adult Rigid Endoscopes
• Olympus Towers (6)
• 4 Procedure Rooms

 

Hospital Privileges:

Full hospital privileges at Saint Francis Hospital

Hospitalist Program available for pediatric and adult inpatient needs

 

Operating Rooms:

• 31 OR’s total – recently remodeled
• Scheduled OR Block Time: 7:00 am start
• Operating Room Availability: 1-2 days per week
• Turnaround Time (wheels in/out): 28 minutes
• Equipment: Medtronic Stealth, Zeiss Microscopes, Omni Guide Laser, DaVinci Robot(s)

 

Natalie Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC):

• OR Count: 8 OR’s total
• Turnaround Time (wheels in/out): 15 minutes
• Equipment: Medtronic Stealth, Leica Microscopes, Omni Guide Laser, DaVinci Robot

 

Schedule:

• Clinic/Surgery Days: Per physician preference
• Typically 3-4 days in clinic, 1-2 days in OR

 

Call:

Hospital/ER Call: Equal call split with 14 ENTs (resident and mid-level assistance)

 

Expected Volume:

• Surgical Volume: 10-25 cases per week per provider
• Clinic Volume: 75-100 patients per week per provider (20-25 patients/day)

Clinic: General scope of ENT

 

Surgical Case Mix:

• FESS, Septoplasty, Turbinoplasty, Rhinoplasty
• Microlaryngoscopy, Laryngoplasty, Subglottic Stenosis
• Thyroidectomy, Parathyroid Exploration, Parotidectomy, Inspire Implants
• Tympanomastoidectomy, Tympanoplasty, Cochlear Implant, Osseointegrated Implant, Stapedectomy
• Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, BMT, Pediatric Laryngoscopy and Bronchoscopy

 

Referral Pattern:

External Referrals: As part of Saint Francis Health System, the clinic benefits from an extensive network of external referrals from regional healthcare providers, ensuring a robust patient base and continued practice growth

 

Teaching Opportunity:

Teaching Opportunities with Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine

• Medical students and residents frequently rotate through the practice
• Teaching appointments available based on physician preference
